I usually hate losing to the Jets but great job guys. I loved Campbell on Hard Knocks. I hope he inspires this team just a little bit. Also, https://mobile.twitter.com/DeVanteParker09/status/651021619104714752

Unless one of them has HC experience, you probably don't want to promote one of the coordinators since they're busy doing their coordinator things. Though in the case of the Dolphins' DC I would assume he's getting canned too.

Ireland is gone. But now that I think about it, I'm not sure how much of a hand he had in Philbin's hiring. That was near the end of Ireland's time with the team and his influence was uh... greatly reduced.

The power structure of Miami Steve Ross is the owner Mike Tannenbaum is second in command Dennis Hickey is the GM Tannenbaum had nothing to do with hiring Dennis Hickey or Joe Philbin. Assume a total re-do.

Last month for the Dolphins, off of memory: - Loads of injuries - Players ignore Philbin's urges to get off the field quickly - All the stars are pissed off one way or another about how they're being used - Suh kicked a downed QB in the head, shows up to practice in sneakers - Wake might be dead - Brent Grimes' wife headbutted a cop - Jordan Cameron entered the scrambled eggs realm - Tannehill acts like a baby after getting clowned by practice squad players - OC, DC both suck eggs - Team's only win is from a fourth-quarter comeback against an even worse team - And, somehow, Mike Pouncey hasn't done anything stupid. What's missing? I know there's lots more.

SirPhoebos posted:Please elaborate, if only so we can stop talking about Sikhs. Ireland was the GM brought in while Parcells was running things. They brought in Sparano as the head coach. Sparano was let go after 3 years and Steve Ross the owner picked Philbin as the new HC after striking out on Jeff Fisher. Ireland was the next to go. Can't remember if it was one or two years after Philbin left.
