I could have gone for a better Garrick intro especially considering you saw his helmet pop up in the last season (seriously, everyone walks into that lab, let's make something new here), and a less stupid exit for Flash-dad, but overall solid ep. Good enough reason for Ronnie leaving, Wells is still a smug rear end in a top hat, we get the mention of Zoom...I'll take it. The Garrick intro really was a bummer, though; just have him show up in the suit and explain the rest later, it's weird knowing a dude is a superhero and and having his first appearance be sauntering into a building in street clothes and giving one sentence before cutting to black.

LoT Season 2 being about a Crisis event with dimension hopping might be pretty good. Keep Arrow, Flash and Supergirl separate for their S5, 3 and 2 respectively and then resolve the fallout from the Crisis before or during the start of their next seasons (if any).

Instead of Rip, we get the Monitor or Monarch who'd work as walking plot devices rather than actual characters so there's potentially one less character that could be terrible

This would be an awesome way to handle all of the series now that Supergirl is on CW. Since it's TV and not comics it's probably never going to happen, but man that would be a great way to tie everything together.

So that's Barry #3 in the final scene right? Barry 1 was the Barry that was fighting and Barry 2 gave the slow disapproval headshake (telling Barry 1 to let her die, if I remember correctly)?

True, that thing had too much padding as it was, then add his old man baggage and it looked like he was more ready to climb Everest than being a sleek speedster.

As far the challenges he mentioned go, losing weight and looking like a speedster is probably right up there if they plan on having him do action stuff.
