agreed, but then again I don't know how many people cross reference couchsurfing and airbnb. like maybe he doesn't mention he only accepts women on couchsurfing but rejects all couples or dudes who submit.midnightclimax posted:not hidden. first thing he showed me were half-naked pics of a japanese chick that stayed at his place. that's awful but I guess it could have been worse? hopefully she left unviolated

A couchsurfing profile is not too different from a dating site profile, and I'd wager a guess and say the majority of males would prefer hosting a girl instead of a guy (unless they're gay). the guy told me what he does is common practice, and I believe that's probably true. indigi posted:that's awful but I guess it could have been worse? hopefully she left unviolated well he showed her around the country and they probably had a little holiday fling. still showing those pics to some random dude, eh.

I've only lived one place with a gas stove and it was a super weak one so it was garbage, took like 20 minutes to boil water *this is the actual name of them in the voter pamphlet

electric and induction cooking's always a let down i got... gas: range, dryer electric: everything else a therm's like a dollar and i got a nice little solar system so electric's "free." the system was a couple thousand up front, and i probably gave some underpaid chinese factory worker numerous cancers, but i valued lowering my monthly expenses more

duTrieux. posted:yeah, let me buy a stove that locks me into a specific type of cookware or it won't work lmao by "specific" cookware you mean you can't use aluminium pans? i had to get a special non-stick coz non-stick has to be alloy so this one had a steel base mechanically stuck to the pan but eveyrthing else works fine. including cast iron pans and enamel dutch ovens Sniep posted:then use a smaller burner my experience is that regardless how much ive turned down even the lowest burner i will still burn onions or milk onto the pan or something i was 100% sold on induction after using it for a very short time. if i was installing a kitchen i wouldnt have anything but. if i want fire... i would use an outdoor bbq

that's because you have better heat control. when you adjust the flame the heat immediatelyu changes withou thaving to wait
