They're new found wild skepticism about the game is the equivalent of their initial over-enthusiasm! Why do goons have to go between these extremes?

the gently caress? they actually used money to get A-list celebs to voice and mocap for their nerdy spacegame. Good investment IMO. wonder how many imaginary space shuttles they had to sell for that

Don't forget that they also built their own mo-cap studio for their FPS module, then abandoned it to go to the Imaginarium, a motion capture VFX studio that's done work for Avengers sequel and the upcoming Star Wars film, and use their mo-cap facilities.

there's this thing called "vision", op. if a vision is impossible to realize with the available resources, it will never become reality the reason why star citizen is having trouble is because the project leader's vision is disconnected from reality in this way, unlike, for example, the hot dog dreams of an immensely down to earth alabamian

LOL at goons still thinking that Star Citizen is just a scam. Citizen Con proved undeniably that Chris has a strong vision and the team necessary to bring it to live. I bet most of you are already regretting your refunds. Personally I can't wait to fly my Constellation (the millenium falcon of Star Citizen) in the Verse.

We're all adults here. We all understand that in real-life, throughout the ages, when a ship was boarded by pirates, or when pirates raided a coastal village, rape was simply part of the deal. I wouldn't be bringing this up if it weren't for the promise of FPS combat, during boarding operations. I personally believe that a short animation (nothing X-rated) that simply suggests your avatar is being sexually defiled would add to the harsh consequences of losing. Harsh consequences is something that is absent from most MMOs and it's something that we all desire. A little humiliation, combined by some serious smack talk from the perpetrators, would really make me think twice about traveling through pirate-space without an escort. I mean, we're all very comfortable with the idea of MURDERING other players, which is what happens when you blow up other spaceships. Surely, what I'm proposing is less morally questionable?
