I hope Salvy's actually healthy and not just 'healthy.'

I guess the MLB is better about these things than most sports.

As far as tonight goes he's only thrown one bad pitch. It just happened to be a loving awful pitch after an error.

And as I type this Ned says it was a good pitch. I disagree but whatever.

The Blue Jays literally don't know if they need to be heading to the airport to fly to KC or go home while the Astros come to Toronto. It's kind of weird.

I'm still curious as to how things would have gone down if Texas won that game. Like, does the MLB just tell the Jays to gently caress themselves or do they force the Rangers to hang out in Toronto for a night while they figure out if there's anything to the protest or what?

If you have no other direct rooting interests in the playoffs and aren't a fan of the White Sox or a non-Chicago NL Central team, I don't see why you wouldn't root for the Cubs by default at the very least.

EDIT: Or the Jays, they're cool too.

From a neutral perspective (which I don't have) there aren't any bad options left. Sure the Cubs are the best, the Jays are the most exciting, but no one's won recently and they'd all be good stories in their own way.
