also those occasional thirty second breaks on hulu are your episodic reminder to pack a bowl/ pour a drink/ take a piss while reflecting on the show so far if you're not doing one of the three then sorry, but you're watching wrong

Wait a fuckin second if you pay for Hulu they still limit you to so many full eps? looool

Why are you listing CW shows as a benefit of Hulu Plus when you can get them for free on their website with no ads? I mean, Hulu is looking better than it ever was right now and has always had the Criterion Collection so it isn't bad or anything, but network TV is not exactly what people look for in choosing their streaming services.

youtube has japanese iron chef on it, which p much makes it the best streaming service, all things considered

How does Amazon's streaming service compare to Netfix? I've heard it's much better, but that's coming from one guy at work, so who knows? Too busy to check it out, tell me now damnit!

I don't get what is good about Hulu, it has ads and lovely shows that I could have watched live anyway? Or "downloaded"? Netflix has more exclusive content than leeching off existing networks, so I am happy to invest in them so they can invest in awesome stuff like House of Cards. gently caress adverts.

Anyone got a Roku box? How's it working for you? Honestly, it's mostly looking appealing right now cuz I quit cable and need a box to plug to my speakers into.

And to be super fair to Netflix I don't think their "we'll turn basically anything into a netflix series just ask us politely" policy has really bit them on the rear end yet. House of Cards, Orange is The New Black, Bojack Horseman, Daredevil, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt are all fantastic. Hell Daredevil is one of the best reviewed "tv" shows of 2015.

Yeah with Showtime that inflates quickly to $21/month. At that point you've basically consigned yourself to buying a' la carte cable at nearly the same price as just getting the drat box.
