If they blow this lead, the ump throwing Tulo out is just more proof of the american conspiracy

Thank God 11 runs was enough to eke out a victory there.

Thank god the Jays saw fit not to blow a 7 run lead in the final inning.

I'm just now seeing the final score. How many consecutive singles did the Royals hit in the ninth?
|
# ? Oct 20, 2015 04:50 |
|
Only two singles in the inning surprisingly. They scored on a sac fly and a three run homer.
|
# ? Oct 20, 2015 04:56 |

Let's chalk this one up to "A win's a win," and get ready for tomorrow. More of the first eight innings, and less of whatever that last bit was.

Actually you weren't that far off. First hit was infield single (albeit Goins made it amazingly close considering how far he had to range), then Smoak had a sharp grounder go right under his glove that would have likely have been a DP to start the inning, instead rolled to the wall so runners at 2nd & 3rd - ruled a double which was pretty generous scoring. Then a deep sac fly, then grounder up the middle for the second run. Osuna came in and gave up the huge dinger (2run, not 3). So definitely some quirky bullshit to start the inning at least.
