i am taking the most horrible acid poo poo right now. it generally has the consistency of clay but stings horribly everything it touches. every time the cruel feces is ejected my body is wracked with toxic chills and rigors. occasionally my rear end in a top hat will blurt out a hot bolus of liquid poo poo like a sputtering faucet, coating every surface in acrid paste. i badly need a shower. i badly need a blanket.

Actually been some pretty funny replies to this thread, and honestly a lot of the names and jargon are ridiculous. But hey, I didn't choose the term "Manosphere" I'm just stuck with using it. I'm not going to defend any of these movements. MRAs have a just cause in many instances, but are too worried about being correct and arguing ideologies with feminists. While self improvement is laudable, a huge portion of PUA/Red Pill philosophy centers around a group of elites who allegedly gently caress all the time looking down on beta have-not simps. And while I admire the idea of male self-determination independent of women, MGTOW is almost excessively unapologetic in it's criticism of female behavior leading to some rather extreme views. However, I don't think the picture painted of these groups by most media is representative of them at all. In every industrialized nation marriage rates and birth rates are falling. Simultaneously people are choosing to have children at a later age, and more and more children are being born into single parent households. No one genuinely knows what all the economic and social consequences will be as the US faces a declining population and has to undergo massive welfare reform (especially Social Securities paygo system) and honestly it wouldn't be exaggerating to say that this is a problem on the scale of global climate change. The bottom line for me is that I think these movements are an early indicator and a reflection of an ongoing massive change in how men and women interact with each other, and it's likely that men's movements will only continue to grow in size to reflect changing attitudes about society and sex. Tujague posted:Yeah, why aren't these groups focusing on a bizzare, extremely selective, axe-grindy list of highly ambivalent statistical factoid-oids, most of which are disputed and subject to a gigantic list of possible causes and mitigating factors, instead of being all stupid and poo poo? I mean OK, in what way are they bizzarre, extremely selective, axe-grindy, or highly ambivalent? You're using a lot of words but you're not really saying anything...

Men are largely superfluous today. Under modern society there's no good reason to have 50% of the population be the stupider, uglier and more inherently violent sex. We should really work to reduce this number to about 10%, starting of course with the brokedick losers who have most acutely felt their irrelevance and blamed everyone but themselves

My favorite part is when that article got published saying women can't find dates due to them refusing to "date down" and instead of it being all "maybe you should treat men like human beings instead of a walking wallet. You can't expect to just be nice to men and then put out. It's not like a vending machine" it was all "this is a problem with society we need to fix. Man can't get a date he's a virgin mra loser. Woman can't get a date she's a victim.

instead of convincing women they need to date the smelly penniless idiot demographic, shouldn't we as men start a false flag movement convincing men to be stupider, angrier and more worthless so those of us who are in on it need only to shower before we play videogames all day to pull down doctor-supermodels

I thought the whole point was refusing to date someone you deem of insufficient quality for your own personal standards? A shame that we raise our boys to prioritize stoic denial and physical strength over actually useful life skills. If only there were a movement that brought to light the vile ways that gendered expectations damage children all through their lives and sought to end such hurtful normative behavior modification... alas, such a movement will surely never exist, or these men would embrace it wholeheartedly

Of course, that relies on the idea that feminism has not really changed in the century since then.

Like how women in the U.S. could not even vote when that was apparently the popular thing to do (in England granted). How do you argue against someone who will literally grasp at a 100-year-old straw just to drink a glass of Spite? The last time feminists and the far right teamed up in the U.S. we got attempted pornography bans in the early 1980s, and we see what a great idea that alliance was.
