It's another amazingly greased deadline since they gave us the bad news that Star Citizen will follow the SQ42 storyline, and you have to pay for it separately now, oh, maybe not this year now. I'm fairly certain that they have to be swapping out the engine somehow. This is a complete guess, but they have to be recognizing the hard limitations of cryengine, and have had enough time to develop their own rather than Frankenextend it.
