I can't believe someone got paid to write this. This is just embarrassing.

Yeah, I've got to say this is one of the worst written pilots in recent memory.

Everybody just standing 10 feet from a SAM launcher firing missiles :stare:

edit: talking heads ragging on somebody who could literally murder every single one of them in a single bound; sounds par for course.

That fight was legit dope.

Yeah, you can see the budget in that fight that CBS/DC put towards this show.

The extras in the fight scene at the pileup are the most disinterested bunch of schlubs. Guy shooting nuclear fire from his hands 50 feet from you? You're totally okay to sit on the guardrail with your arms crossed.

This General is an absolute joke, and considering comic book generals that's saying something.

This was a pretty terrible episode, but goddamn if Benoist didn't sell that rageface at the end. She looked like she was going to rupture something*.

*Other than the robot.

Problem with that is with the soaring music and Benoist killing that moment is it's preceded by an absolutely terrible episode. That's a moment you drop close to the season ending and not 6 episodes in.

Central/Star City. Gotham doesn't have masked people yet.

Drapers actor sounds amazingly like a young Clancy Brown. It's unnerving.

The gulf in the money CBS spends on the effects for this show and the CW's is pretty amazing. They do a pretty good job of it (except for that episode with the red robot).

So why does it cost 3 million per episode to license Supergirl from WB?

It cost 3 mil to produce or 3 mil to license? Cause the former is about par for a new show and the latter is absurd.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Scrubs both network hopped and both were terrible after the jump.

Scrubs admittedly network jumped right during or after the fallout from the Writer's Strike. Bill Lawrence fully admitted he'd keep producing the show as long as possible to keep people working.
