seriously though, the Pens have not played awfully tonight. they've done a great job neutralizing the Caps offense but at the cost of their own offense

Maybe this is Johnston's master plan. He's going to Therrien/Bylsma his own team.

Clamp them down defensively so so tight, then unleash the offensive hounds from hell the last stretch of the season.
