I used to have Ubuntu on my laptop like 10 years ago because my internal hard drive died and maybe things have changed now but back then you couldn't run Windows from an external hard drive so it was p cool and had some nice features but some things were harder than necessary to figure out. Welp, that's my Linux story.

Is an Arch install really that much of a pain in the rear end? I haven't used a text-based Linux installer since 2003 or earlier, and I've done a countless number of installs since then. The main point of Arch seems to be making things as much harder than they need to be as possible. Posted from my Linux desktop.
