I can't even think of a worse example than Bioshock: Infinite at the moment, the part where the game shows you the mixed race couple at the start completely destroyed any credibility the game had for me and it only got much worse after that.

Every second word said in ToV is either "blastia" (or "bhodi blastia") or "Entelexia" (pronounced "ent-eh-la-kay-a" for some gently caress off reason) or some other word they came up with by throwing random syllables at the wall and using whichever ones stick

The Fal'cie demands that the L'cie not Focus on the inexplicable weirdness of the terms they use to describe themselves Bioshock:Infinite just had a really awkward Hitler/Stalin different side of the same coin analogy that rightfully came off racist and weird, especially considering the socialists were introduced ingame as having the secret hideouts you could find as side content and then they sort of didn't follow through with that.

Infinite having the Vox Populi be evil when you jumped into a universe where Booker was working with them from the beginning was supposed to show that Booker is a terrible human being who ruins everything he touches and make the ending where he (indirectly) kills himself that much more justified, not be some lazy South Park "the truth is in the middle" bullshit like apparently the entire internet seems to think it is.

This falls apart when Booker disappears from Elizabeth's life and she ends up destroying New York even though she doesn't want to or something. Maybe she just absorbed his poo poo-transformation power. Or was that an Elizabeth who got stuck with racist religious Booker? I can't remember.

I mean that I couldn't take its story seriously afterwards, because the way it's set up it's blatantly obvious that it's a lazy justification to kill everyone. Now there are plenty of games where the justification is basically "they are nazis" and that's fine because those games generally don't take themselves nearly as seriously as Bioshock: Infinite does. I personally felt it was borderline insulting to treat a serious ~social issue~ as racism like that.
