This would be nice but gently caress that, put them away. Those starters are too damned good.

If they win tomorrow I hope the parade isn't till Tuesday so I can go.

Why do the Royals keep getting to play teams that are loving stupid?

The Tigers ran up against a bunch of bulldozers from 2011 to 2013 but Bumgarner's basically the only one not to roll out the red carpet for these assholes.

This is why it was so important to win 1 in New York. It's going to be tough to beat us twice at home.

After going back and looking at the key plays again I have confirmed this was a Grade A case of Metsing. The Royals didn't win, the Mets just lost very hard.

If it gets to 7 I'll be :ohdear:ing all over the place. I don't want to see Ventura in a game 7 even though it's possible he could be really good.

Syndergaard isn't the same pitcher outside of NY. There really isn't hope.

Yeah, I'm really hoping it doesn't go 7. Like it would be cool for everyone but Royals fans, but gently caress them.

I mean that's the way it lines up and there's no one better hanging around. You could theoretically go with Duffy if you avoid using him until then or maybe Young but no way that happens.

They Royals losing in 7 two years in a row would be too :smith: to take. I kind of feel like the Royals are just going to close this out tomorrow though.

Murphy's error was the 2nd-most costly error in world series history, as measured by how much it changed their team's chances of winning the game.

1) Buckner -40%
2) Murphy -35%

Is there an article or something for this? I'd love to share this with my friends.

If the Mets get a reverse Buckner, then it's only fair that the Royals get a reverse 1985 World Series.

You'd expect Buckner to get brought up with the Mets in the World Series but it's crazy that two should have been game deciding errors happened on easily fieldable grounders.
