wasnt obama promising universal healthcare at this point in the 2008 election while hil dogg was promising obamacare and her poll numbers started to tank when she stated honestly that you'd be legally compelled to buy insurance or face a fine

I'm voting for Bernie because I like his position on post apocalyptic raiding. and I feel his experience makes him well suited to be president. I'm a bit uncertain on his "make anime real" policy though. He's gonna have some problems luring some minorities groups away from Hillary but I'm confident he can fine tune his message to be more accessible to them.

I can't imagine how anyone would support Clinton either you support Sanders' vision or you want a Trump dystopia it's pretty clear cut, Hillary is just trying to be the cynical default position for people without an ounce of courage

Well, Bernie is going to be president and his ideas are good, so I don't see what he has in common with Ron Paul.

I've seen people post about Hillary and they're so brokenly jaded its sad. Worth a shot either way~

ppl at this time in 2007 were saying a black democrat named barack hussein obama would never beat the clinton machine and get elected POTUS but here we are at the end of his 2nd term. so I think loud old white guy with questionable hair has a fair shot. hell, look at trump. worth a shot anyway, hillary probably will win but she still deserves a serious challenge from the left. I do agree that his internet fanboys are p insufferable though, just like obama's were. don't develop cults of personality around political figures you dummies, even if they're ones you agree with

The White Dragon posted:we can't do this until we have sufficiently advanced technology that's indistinguishable from magic, otherwise we'll never get to live out our shadowrun fantasies On a random note this is the city of London does things. All the big local corporations get automatic votes in the local government proportional to their size http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2011/oct/31/corporation-london-city-medieval quote:What is this thing? Ostensibly it's the equivalent of a local council, responsible for a small area of London known as the Square Mile. But, as its website boasts, "among local authorities the City of London is unique". You bet it is. There are 25 electoral wards in the Square Mile. In four of them, the 9,000 people who live within its boundaries are permitted to vote. In the remaining 21, the votes are controlled by corporations, mostly banks and other financial companies. The bigger the business, the bigger the vote: a company with 10 workers gets two votes, the biggest employers, 79. It's not the workers who decide how the votes are cast, but the bosses, who "appoint" the voters. Plutocracy, pure and simple.
