I woke up and was enjoying the extra hour we got back from DST, then it almost got up to 80 degrees today, way too warm for proper fall weather. Very disappointing.

When my wife's sister flew into town, they drove an hour and a half (round trip) across town to this place she had heard about on Food Network and wanted to try. The place was gourmet churros, and they were expensive and gross. They weren't even as good as the costco food court churros. It was pretty funny actually

Six months ago I was in a job that I was way overqualified for, being paid 10-15k/year less than I could have been making depending on what numbers you believe. Then my then-fiancee/now-wife gets an awesome job offer in a major city and I think "finally, time to go get the title and pay I deserve" I ended up getting the title and the 15k extra I should have been making, but due to where we live now my paycheck gets taxed so much that I only bring home on average $50/week more than I was at my last job. Meanwhile our rent & utilities are double what they were before
