The stats on how many people are in college and virgins is surprisingly large and iirc from the last couple articles ive read on this its been growing for the last decade or so. With online dating it seems like it should be easier than ever to find some gently caress but it seems like at the same time the number of people everyone considers unfuckable have also gone up. Probably cause there's less socioeconomic pressure to pair off or something.

Im at work so I dont actually wanna go googling about college virginity stats but iirc both men and women were in the 20s% virgins with men being a couple percent higher. If i had to make a guess as to why its a mixture of their being less socioeconomic pressures to settle down combined with the large rise of social and anxiety disorders the internet has given us. The people who are getting laid are doing fine and have plenty of partners but theres a bigger chunk of people who can't pass whatever the modern benchmarks are. Its like "the first million is the hardest" but with your sex life.
