The FA Cup, now sponsored by Emirates, is the world's oldest knockout competition. Last year, Arsenal won it for the second year running, beating Villa 4-0. The First Round has started, with Salford City vs. Notts County happening right now! We all love lovely pitches and desperate punts up the pitch, so if you wanna get in on this poo poo it's on BBC1. If you're not British, use a stream or something. The fixtures for the First Round: Obviously, nobody really cares until the Third Round, when a team that will win it enters. Of course, there are always upsets in such a competition, and who knows what cup magic we will see this year. Sorry for the bad OP.

I care that FC United took a principled if pretentious stance about games being moved to monday, refused, and got told to absolutely get hosed by the FA, because it made me laugh. Up the Dover and Maidstone I guess.

The documentary that preceded this game about the class of 92 buying Salford and getting them promoted was well worth a look. Now I kind of have to hope they go on and win this.

(In Man City fan voice) I remember playing all those teams in the OP, away, in the rain and snow and fog, and hurricanes and tsunamis, just a few short years ago.

As usual when I watch King play, his movement is terrible. It's not even a matter of workrate this time since he's pressing well when Newcastle has the ball, he just looks like he has no idea where he should position himself and doesn't have the imagination to make a run. At least he's been okay apart from that so far. E: wait this isn't MDT!
