i would probably be a good mod and just do almost nothing save for the occation probation for something actually really dumb or whatever id also sticky good threads and allow drunkposting on friday/sat nights in specific threads also free vending machines and a pizza day each month

You really shouldn't put me in charge of anything, though I think I'd fare better here than I did that Minecraft server. LOL I lost my assistant-modship there over giving a MRA wannabe that wore a vest with red flannel a 30 sec ban. I blew up everything I created and hosed off that server though, was probably the best looking poo poo on it too. So yeah, don't mod me, I'll make bad decisions or good ones depending on how you look at it. Seriously though that guy was a twat and deserved more than 30 secs.

The reason I am applying is because I see myself continuing to play on this server for quite a while, and what better way to play on a server then to give back to it as well by helping the players and dealing with problems Notch's way Past Knowledge: I was staff on the formerly popular Kit Pvp server, EzPvp. I was also moderator on a server called Wondermine (Towny) back when it was in it's prime. And I was Mod on the decently popular EnPvp (Faction Raiding) server before it was taken down. Am I mastered with the factions plugin? (1-10): I'd give myself a sloppy 4. Mostly because I haven't played minecraft for a good 4-6 months or so, but definitely have decent experience with the plugin in general. Why Should You Pick Me: Well first let me explain why you shouldn't pick me. I have only been on the server for about 3 days (rough estimate), so in no shape or form do I expect to join the staff team yet. I am mostly doing this to get my name out on the forums and who knows, maybe even become staff if this is impressive enough. As for reasons why you should pick me, they go as followed. 1) If you read above, I have plenty of experience being on a staff team. And this experience resides as a guideline for myself on how to act in certain situations. 2) I know my place and I know that the name Moderator is given to only trustworthy, mature players and I definitely feel I am one of them. 3) I can handle problems in a calm and definite way, and am more than happy to do whatever is needed to help the server, as long as it is within my power. If I was the Owner, what would I do Differently?: I am playing on this server for a couple reasons. Just judging by the plugins, it is already a server that I am used to, and comfortable playing on. Not only that but friendly players and staff. And for the biggest reason of all, donors aren't OP. I mean yes they get a significant advantage, but they aren't handed sharp 10 and prot 15 and a lot of other garbage OP gear that I've seen in the past on non-OP servers like this. I guess if there was 1 thing I would do differently. It would be to add in some free ranks. Now this is a tricky subject because as a server, you very much do want to fund it (donor ranks), but you also wan't to make the majority of the populace happy (members/non-donors). I propose these two free ranks: Novice: Played on the server for at least a month. Gets to set 3 homes. Has /kit Novice that comes with armor/food/whatever. Obviously it wouldn't be prot 4, but maybe like iron prot 2 or whatever you guys feel is a safe choice. Veteran: Played on the server for 3 or 5 months. Gets to set 5 homes (I do believe a donor rank already gives you 5 homes, but perhaps you could buff the home count on each rank if necessary). Gets /kit Veteran with the same things as /kit Novice but better (Still not anything OP of course). And perhaps can change the time of day. (I only suggest that because I saw it on a different server) Now not only does adding free ranks give non-donors something to look forward too, but it also gives us loyal players something back after they've stuck with it for the allotted amount of time. The /kit's aren't supposed to be super good, so people will still wan't to donate in order to get good gear/help the server. I've seen to many people leave servers because they feel they have either nothing to look forward to, or they don't have the skill to overcome to strength of already strong players. The only other thing besides that would be to keep a cap on most of the mcmmo skills. Not only is it unfair for players to have to join and face lvl1000 swords or lvl1000 unarmed players (Enjxy I'm looking at you), but it is also unrational. Yes grinding needs to be rewarding, but generally you play a server to have fun and get better, not to spend every hour of every day left clicking on mobs to be able to fight someone weeks/months from that point. So if needed, raise the skill cap, even periodically. Like once a month raise the caps a tad higher so veterans can pounce on the chance to upgrade their skills, meanwhile the nooby players still have a chance at life. What Qualities do I have: Well, I'm honest, respectful, and add like 4 tablespoons of goofy. I love to have fun, and being a moderator isn't going to stop me from doing so. BUT, with that being said I will more than retain my responsibilities if given the opportunity. I am respectful to the point where like I stated above, I know my place and I know when it's time to debate and when it's time to gorilla glue my lips together. And as far as myself being honest, well... Just don't expect me to lie about anything staff related :sick: Other Info: Like I said, I know I have only been here a few days, and I honestly don't expect myself becoming staff. Perhaps some time in the future. I just wanted to get my name out, and let you all know that I am qualified when you need an extra hand. And last but not least. Spiderman taught us that shooting webs out of your hands is pretty badass. But he also taught us that with great power comes... Well, you know. Bottom line is I'll do my best to preserve the server and maintain it's glory as best as I can. So if you have made it through this whole application, well congratulations.
