out of the 50 or so people I saw only 3 of them plead not guilty. 1 plead guilty, and the rest plead no contest. it's kind of sad to see people just lay over and take it like that. it's not like you're going to get a harsher sentence if you decide to defend yourself.

I have time to speak to a qualified attorney. The prosecution may present a plea bargain which I can decide to accept or decline. If I choose to decline the plea bargain we go to court. I even have the option of having the entire incident expunged from my record. During your arraignment you have no idea what the judge will decide.
