Be sure to include Summoners and things like that for extra appeal. This is good but let's go further: Make it so every character is tracked along every skill independently, like in Skyrim. They get better as they do things. So their Glock 18 skill increases when they use it, and their Beretta M9 skill increases when they use that gun. That way you can help build characters into whatever you want naturally. I agree about Summoners though, and we definitely need Geomancers and Calculators and stuff too! e; Chomp you fucker!

Then have three storyline characters be LGBT. It's not difficult, I mean Dr. Vahlen clearly goes both ways (and for aliens) while Dr Shen is as gay as Christmas. I don't think Bradford actually has a sexuality either, when he lies in bed he thinks about the paperwork he did that day and quietly cums in the night. e; VVV

Have you thought about a campaign where you play as the aliens? I was thinking you could even have separate tech trees for them, and perhaps the ability to anally probe (in a nongay way) humans to learn from them and steal their tech.

A possible and incredibly feasible subplot in XCOM 2 might be Bradford being incredibly homophobic against the gay anal probing, which would introduce an element of moral grayness and raise the question of who are the real monsters, the aliens, or man. This sort of social commentary consideration really helps a game's storyline and I think you would be remiss to so glibly dismiss LGBT representation or issues like you're doing in this thread. Just my opinion.
