Problem description: Its really a minor thing but despite my hard googling i can't find a solution, when using the @ and £ - signs it takes about ~2 seconds for them to appear, every other special sign i've tried works just fine, and the same problem appears when using windows on-screen keyboard so it shouldn't be a hardware problem. Attempted fixes: Changing the keyboard language settings, different keyboard usb-ports, rebooting etc. Recent changes: A new GPU, but i dont remember if i had the problem before i installed it. Operating system: Windows 7 Ultimate System specs: CPU:I5-2500 MOBO:Asus p8p67-m GPU:MSI GTX 970 Memory:12gb ddr3 PSU:Corsair CX600 Hard Drives: 1x 250gb ssd Samsung 840 Evo, 2x SATA 1tb and 2tb Location: Finland I have Googled and read the FAQ: Yes

Does it happen with all fonts? Maybe the font you're using doesn't have those characters, somehow, and Windows needs to take some time to find it in a generic font.
