 This book came out yesterday, and I've been through it twice already. Four months ago when I learned Japanese Mahjong, it was much, much harder to find all the info to become intermediate-level. Now it's all in one place, and free. (Chiba doesn't cover the rules. Played The Gallerist at a meetup today, was good yo, much better than 2p version. I think Vital Lacerda's games that have majority-control markets (like Vinhos and The Gallerist) are in general better with 2, because that mechanic just becomes better with more players. In The GAllerist the columns are limited in a 2p game, but it's still less exciting than with 3.
