Unfortunately, the scenes are so massive, that it's just not feasible to go back and do everything. Maybe down the road we'll do more. Right now, we've just finished redo the character models at higher quality, some for the aircraft, vehicles and weapons are going through the same thing. These, mind you, were mostly done 3-4 years back and some even before we built this new engine. For a small indie team, there's only so much we can do without going over board. It's not like I want to keep the game in perpetual development. With this major build out, our focus is on vehicles, the automated AI controlled entities (turrets on stations, defense systems firing etc), world events and finally the in-game cash shop. And barring any critical issue, we're on track for a public release tomorrow.

I can't see poo poo when the sun goes down. Like, I'm turning my mouse staring at blackness and I don't mean Derek's ethnicity. I blundered blind until I found a wall and hugged it into a corner and alt-tabbed to other things until the sun rose again. Hopefully .7 addresses this.

$5 to buy NVG. In all seriousness, maybe just build night vision into the characters helmet or do it ARMA 3 style where you actually have to obtain NVG. Maybe this feature is already in the game. I don't konw, I'm waiting for .07.

There are supply packs all over the scenes (they are even brightly lit beacons you can't miss) which have nv equipment. Free. I was on for awhile messing around. Had a crash to desktop which asked for a bug report which I sent in. I'll be on tomorrow afternoon (PST Time) to mess around some more. I'm writing down notes of my experience and what I feel could be streamlined or made easier as a user as constructive feedback. I think I'll stream to Twitch tomorrow too. Just for kicks and giggles and so that way I'll have video to back up any bug reports too if I find more.
