david carmichael posted:aren't his sources google maps, google translate, and wikipedia Yes, but that's just to place/match/confirm things that are posted on social media. ex. a selfie of a T-72 taken by the Russian crew is confirmed as being in the Ukraine by matching the markings to a T-72 photo taken by a teen in the Ukraine between two apartments buildings with a round fountain in the background and a street number visible. They then use google earth to locate the exact spot, and someone else goes there and takes a geo-stamped photo of the same framed shot to prove that a Russian tank crew was operating in the Ukraine.
