Over at Liberty University they don't teach evolution or philosophy, they teach alternate history, and are essentially a church based "education". Yet they have billions of dollars and a ton of influence on American politics. Is Liberty U more harmful to civil liberties and the separation of church and state than guns, ISIS, corporate donors? Also have you ever met someone that went to a Liberty or Oral Roberts or some such? What has your interactions with them been like? When Obama becomes dictator should he close down these Universities and turn them into museums?

Not only do I think they are extremely harmful and damaging to the nation's youth, I consider them to be a direct threat to democracy because of the way they subvert the voter base and turn them into mongoloid idiots who think solar panels steal sunlight and that building a big wall across the border and charging Mexico for its construction are viable ideas. That said I think by the university level it's kinda whatever. I think the real danger is the schools for grade schoolers, or the rate at which people home school their kids in order to turn them into Jesus freaks. That Jesus Camp poo poo is freaky.

I'd say I agree with this too, except for the undue influence LU has on politics and soft money. It legitimizes bad science and substitutes faith for education. But on the whole I think you're right.

Liberty University isn't half as harmful as charter schools and for-profit colleges at least Liberty University isn't vacuuming up tax money that's supposed to be used for public schools and real colleges and funneling it straight into the pockets of millionaires while drooling retards go "school choice! teacher accountability!"

If it's anything like my hippie liberal arts college the graduates won't learn anything or remember nothing of what they did learn. I read Dostoevsky/Tolstoy/Gogol's collected works but that was 10 years ago and don't remember jack poo poo about any of it beyond a chapter in Dead Souls where a guy pretends he's not home even though the visitor saw that he was home through the window.
