Here they usually give 5+video and then decide in a meeting right after the game on whether it should be game or match based on replays from different angles.

Also I know it's just 2 games but it looks like Geno's level has dropped sharply since Johnston was fired, which is weird and disturbing.

Yeah, and your refs get to use cool-rear end two-way headsets during games. God, the things I'd tell my lineys/bands if we were linked up... (We have that at the NCAA level, I think: there's no automatic suspension bar game misconducts, they just sit the rest of the current game if it's a DQ/the next game if it's a Game Misconduct and get reviewed by their conference's Supplemental Discipline panel after it's all said and done.)

Good that's karmic payback for that 24-49 SoG loss to the Oilers on Monday.

It would be cool if the pens could score, but otherwise this has been another good effort.

Perron stop bitching at the ref and get back in the goddamn play. I need to try to keep an open mind but I'm getting more irritated with that guy every game. The last loving thing I want to see in a Pens uniform is James Neal except without any of the goals.

though to be fair to perron that should have been tripping

Man, cross checks to the back against the boards is really a call refs let go in all leagues against all teams, and it seems pretty dangerous.

Perron is mad because Chara hooks him which allows the D partner to get back.

But one game per week the refs are mic'ed up so the people watching on TV can hear everything they say. Pretty drat entertaining.

Zatkoff made a legit great save on a tricky deflection there The Penguins also know they're getting shut out and are just kind of listlessly waiting for the game to end.
