I really don't know why the Pens decided they hate Pouliot but he looked really good for a 21 year old defenseman last year when the rest of the team was in the shitter. Is it really all about the DUI thing? Is his personal life completely out of control behind the scenes?

I'm 98% sure this team is never getting anywhere near the Cup again with this core and there really isn't anything anyone can do about it. I am SO loving GLAD they at least won the one Cup because if they hadn't done that I can't even imagine the weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth that would be going on in PAS by now.

The front office and coaching staff are all going to be fired and replaced this offseason but the core of players is going to remain the same and I've just kinda lost hope that anything's ever going to change with these guys. This post is 100% speculation out of my rear end but ownership is trying to sell the team and has to be seething at the team making GBS threads all over itself. It wouldn't shock me at all if Rutherford were fired in the near future. Which is why unless MAF is really truly coming back within a week, a trade for a goalie is inevitable, and very likely before Christmas.
