You can skip all that and download the windows 10 media creation tool. its best to back up your files, upgrade to 10, then just doing a clean install of 10 and moving your files back over but that's if you really wanna have the best experience.

You have the new power to be burdened by a windows 10 upgrade icon until it evolves into a message that pops up every time you turn on your pc until it doesn't even give you the option to ignore it anymore and forces you to download the upgrade and annoy you until you begrudgingly hit that upgrade button one day and hate the rest of your life with windows 10.

I had to go back from Win10 because it wouldn't recognize my iPod or USB sticks, but for some reason recognized my iPhone Went back to Win7, everything works fine, I don't miss the features to be honest
