I was gonna say getting permission to work in Canada is actually kinda hard, but I guess that wouldn't matter in this case. He can keep doing what he does from anywhere. His wife is canadian, right? So just getting in and getting health insurance and stuff wouldn't be too bad. Head straight north from missouri and you hit manitoba. Winnipeg is a nice, affordable town. Great place as long as you aren't trying to find a job or leave your house in winter. I hear the summers are a bit humid, but probably not worse than missouri. Much lower chance of being shot. Only a 15 hour drive back to Missouri to visit his kids!
