I loved my slow cooker until one time I tried to make jerk chicken breast in it. I made the recipe a bunch of times before and it was greAt. This one morning I put all the stuff into the pot, turn it on and went to work. Came home to find an ice cold pot of semi gelatinous chicken wallowing in a serious muck with a film of who knows what growing on top. I forgot to plug the fuckin thing in. I put the poo poo in there and turned it on and let it sit for 10 hours without ever actually plugging it in. Haven't made a crock pot meal since out of shame.
