The new season was really, really funny and I'm sad it didn't take off  It's really surprising that MTV shut it down over marketing reasons if it was doing well otherwise, though. I could understand that in the age of TV only, but with the internet/stream/whatever they could have easily kept it going as some kind of web exclusive if they wanted to devote every single hour of TV airtime to their precious tween demographic.Also I would kill for a Daria reboot, or even a show along the same lines with a new character. So many snarkable things have happened since that show ended.

Ripping on the trash mtv puts on now really was the perfect evolution to the couch scenes. With everything Viacom owns there's an unlimited amount of clips they can use. Hell, just show the 90s episodes again with clips instead of videos. I bet it'd still get great ratings in Comedy Central relative to how much it would cost to make. Put it on at 1230 after @midnight and I bet they get great ratings then whatever random show is on normally They're all in YouTube as season 9 for anyone interested.

Someone alluded to this before, but it was kind of meta how the most recent season mocked a lot of current MTV programming. Considering B&B was so controversial and 'dumb' at the time, it could be interpreted as a statement on how terrible MTV is now, wherein what was terrible then towers over today's poo poo (well, the poo poo from four years ago at least)
