Oh, there's new stuff throughout the episode. Not a lot more added to the end of that preview version, but the main dude hops in a mech and starts fightdancing, so that's pretty cool. Ikenai Borderline continues to be amazing.

I see there's raws for episode 2 floating around and that makes me  Also, i finally thought just to look at gg's site and ggkthx posted:Guess we’re going to be doing this (read: committing to it) since Real Legal Anime Sites can’t deal with the licensing clusterfuck that is called Macross. Someone theorized it earlier, but I'm also now on board with the idea that Purple Idol is an AI/android. Punching out of the ground, ~mysterious living arrangements ~. Maybe Vers syndrome is nanomachine based and that's why she can fix it. Also, Green and Red are totally a couple.

I ended up loving it and it led to me watching the original SDF Macross and i ended up loving that more than even my nostalgia for Robotech led me to believe i might. That said, i still think it's probable that you wouldn't like this iteration of the series. I'm just sayin, you never know! Anyway, Macross Plus would be a good place to start if you do want to revisit the franchise.
