It beats paying $1500 for something with a lovely field of view: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Z800_3DVisor Virtual reality isn't supposed to be like "a 105-inch display viewed at 12 feet", it's supposed to be like being there.

Can someone watch the game you are playing if you are using one of these? Like can they see what you are seeing on a monitor also? It seems pretty isolating otherwise.

I don't understand this thread, is $650 supposed to be a lot for high end consumer hardware? because I think u will find that many high end consumer products cost far more than $600, $700, or even $800!!!!

How many of them allow you to look down upon your magical titties while you kill dragons with spoons? although $650 does buy a lot of ketamine.

The problem is that they are hoping for mass adoption. Zuckerberg really thinks that this is the future of entertainment. With a majority of America below middle-class, it ain't happening you tech retards.

The first Unreal engine made the world have a whole different feel. Anyway, you'll get used to it quick and kids will grow up thinking it's normal. Like typing is now. It's just bad marketing. In order to sell thing for 600 you have to persuade everyone that it's worth 600 and people will happily buy it because they think it should cost 600. They were throwing numbers like 350 for so long that saying that it's "obscenely cheap" or they "make it at a loss" won't convince me now
