like bench presses for example, i would do those in a rack because i wouldn't have a spotter and it's a safe way to not have the bar crush my neck but apparently that's "not cool" or whatever so my picture would wind up on a bunch of catty facebook groups

its 2016, people record and take pictures of literally anything. Unless you're doing pushups with the barbell on your back or something nobody is going to care
