He is currently in his best years because he is so rich he never has to work again. He only does it cause he feels like it. Man is made.

OK, I'm glad you let me know. The fact you let us "in" on this well kept "secret" means a lot to me. Don't want to take liberties with your forbidden knowledge, but if you can divulge more Hollywood secrets that'd be fantastic.

Yeah, Joy being a complete mess of a movie had little to do with DeNiro, but once he showed up I knew it was going to be a downward spiral.

I say that to your Mom every weekend, yet here we are, every weekend.

De Niro is one of the greats of all time, certainly in my increasingly short lifetime.

He has made so many good films it's crazy.

Leave the guy alone.

When someone offers you $10 million for a few weeks work I think its impossible to turn down no matter how rich you are. I think that's Sandler's reasoning too.

I liked the comparison to him showing up in American Hustle-- it's like watching George Harrison show up and start playing with the Monkees.

On another note why does David O. Russell keep getting great actors to work with him? He must be an amazing pitch man.

if i was in my 70s and already worth millions, i'd turn it down, but then the people who think "rich enough" is an actual valid concept never get rich in the first place

Guy did "Taxi Driver", "Goodfellas", "Raging Bull", and "Godfather II". Even if the rest of his career is pure poo poo, artistically speaking he'll come out way, way ahead.
