That source is the W dimension, a fourth plane that exists beyond the X, Y, and Z dimensions. In this world, unofficial "illegal" coils harness powers that the police can't hope to counter. Dealing with these coils is the job of coil-hating repo man Kyoma, whose run-in with the unique coil android Mira leads the two to form a reluctant partnership. The basic rundown: New form of seeming limitless engery has been made, oil is all but banned, and a bounty hunter is out to take down scum bags. Characters:  Kyouma Mabuchi: This dude is like Spike from Cowboy bebop and Mugen from Samurai Champloo rolled in to one classy rear end dude. He basically is on the hunt for illegal users of energy coils, but also loves to fix up old cars that use gas.  Mira: Andriod/Robot who is wanting to help her "father" out by giving him coils. This causes the MC and Mira to meet.  Professor The "father" of Mira, he basically brought the world into limitless energy, regrets doing it and paid a high price for it. Overall this show is lining up to be AOTS and you should watch it ESPECIALLY if you liked Giant Robo, because the anime gives some heavy undertones to it. The manga also has some pretty cool design stuff in it it that got directly transferred into the anime like the schematic drawings and a lot of the ending animation.

I actually checked out the manga after the first episode. The translation was real bad and it stopped in the middle of an arc. One neat thing i noticed though was that they changed who won that robot fight sport in the first episode. In the manga the defending champion won but in the anime the challenger won instead.

Probably worth just getting it & reading the official version even if they keep (slowly) putting them out. It's still listed as an active project for that group but if the official volumes come out at any reasonable speed they'll catch up pretty quickly.

Probably the slickest anime this season and the grotesquerie of the dimensional collapse came as one hell of a surprise. Loser really is the best, though, and I hope he gets a lot of screen time.

Mira has spent a good portion of the latest translated arc in a bath towel though. Here's a cover, this is what I was talking about re: the ending

I hope this show gets popular enough so that translators can pick up more chapters of the manga. We're only sitting at around 24 chapters currently translated last I checked on Kissmanga. But yeah, show is cool and good. Loser owns so much.

Checked out the manga awhile back, and it was a rare instance where I thought "I'd like this better animated" I was right, this show is good and I hope it gets at least 22 episodes.

Just gonna say that based on my fuzzy memory of electromagnetics and theoretical physics, this premise is both incredibly smart and incredibly dumb, and I dig that in my soft scifi. Oh and the show is okay, too, I guess.

i kinda figured they'd skip this arc since it seemed kind of unimportant, but maybe the social things introduced here matter later down the line. Edit: now that i've finished the episode, it looks like they did in fact skip most of that story arc and went right to the one that the manga translation is still on.
