I should probably rewatch this movie when it's not 5am and I'm not already half asleep when I start watching it.

i was watching this thing with simon pegg, and he just walks around without pants for some reason. his rear end is pretty nice.

And now Simon Pegg gets to be the wacky comedy sidekick in a bunch of underwhelming American films

Isn't he playing an assassin in some film? My best mate is the spitting image of Simon Pegg and all the girls love him. Didn't know Pegg was such a sex symbol. I'm his fat mate but look more like a giant bald infant than Nick Frost though.

I should watch Hot Fuzz again, the only time I saw it I didn't like it very much except for the "jog on" part. Shaun of the Dead and Spaced are both great, and I haven't seen The World's End or Scott Pilgrim.

Never seen it, I thought Shaun of the Dead was OK, but in the end was overrated. I might watch it eventually, I'll update this thread whenever I do. In any case voting this thread 3.

Hot Fuzz is awesome. I like how he spends half the movie piecing together a conspiracy about all the deaths that makes perfect sense for these people to be doing but it turns out it's far more retarded than that. Best Village Award.

Booblord Zagats posted:But Hot Fuzz was just one gigantic poo poo on how terrible US police-action movies were and how nothing about them works outside of America Except it's not, Hot Fuzz was because Edgar Wright realized england doesn't have any police action movies and wanted to make one, because he loves US cop movies a lot.

Lollin at the guy who tried to twist an action comedy movie into a snipe at those gosh darned uncultured americans because he doesn't understand the jokes in the movie hint: the butt of the joke that nick frost's character loves police action movies is not that he is from england and those movies are american classics, the joke is that the exaggerated events of such movies does not happen in real life, and then the movie proceeds to unfold exactly as in those films

imo hot Fuzz is not a good movie Neither is Shaun of the Dead or Paul. Why are they so screamy and noisy? Simon Pegg's best on screen appearance was as Pvt. Extra in Band of Brothers.
