Hello there. I made this thread a while back but was criticized and called names for not having a poll. Now that I have the ability to make polls, I want to get some hard data on this. When you were a kid did you choose Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle? Please explain you reasoning.   Other questions I am curious about : Did you choose the Dome or Helix fossil in Mt. Moon? Which Pokémon did you evolve Eevee into? Did you choose Hitmonchan or Hitmonlee at the Fighting Dojo? Did you enjoy the Space Shuttle Columbia exhibit at the Pewter City Museum?

Squirtle, everytime. I made every evee my first play through was bulbasour and he was a tank, but charmander is babytown frolics. just burn it all

Venasaur first time. First poke to hit l100. Vine whip and razor leaf were so loving strong. I can't remember if I chose hitmonchan or hitmonlee, prob -lee until I found out that -chan could learn a ton of elemental punches (ice punch, fire punch etc) I guess dome fossil for the kabuto And for eevee I think jolteon cause I didn't have a electric Pokemon. Even though jolteon sucked a ton. Maybe flareon. drat op. It was like 15 years ago. I don't remember.

First time? Charmander. He's a goddamn dragon. After that though, I always picked squirtle. That way, Gary at the Elite Four has a Venusaur instead of Exeggcutor and a Gyrados instead of Blastoise. Gyrados is terrible at everything, and is double weak to lightning. Venusaur is Grass/Poison instead of Grass/Psychic like Exeggcutor, so a fast Ground type like Dugtrio or a Psychic type like Alakazam can one shot it at like level 45.

I picked charmander (duh!) and played the hell out of that game. My charizard was lvl 79 when the incident happened. My 5 year old brother threw a tantrum because he wanted to play. He borrowed my gameboy and started his own game and erased my game. I haven't forgiven him. he's 23 now
