I can only suppose that random encounters have stopped because you're above some kind of experience threshold? Like in Earthbound where monsters that would present no challenge at all would just auto-resolve. But without a way to get money from that selling stuff and gambling seems to be the only option.

From a walkthrough I use to make sure I'm on the right part, you absolutely can exhaust random encounters in what seems to be the entire game. It's just weird that it happened naturally so far before the end. Luckily there's a questline you'll see this week that helps us very very well with our money problems.

Especially when you get into stuff like Tokyo's special wards. It probably is just a chunk of Osaka City, but it could also be a town within Osaka Prefecture. I don't remember if they said it in a cutscene or not, and if it was I wasn't paying close enough attention to the Japanese to hear is they said shi or fu. You're likely right, though.

I was about to get annoyed at yet another knife wound killing someone when it wasn't life threatening at all but I guess if anybody knows about dying via knife wounds to the gut its (my maybe somewhat racist view of) the Japanese so they did it right.

forget the plight of the tiger guy, imagine living next to that castle and being their neighbour when Sengoku comes home from a long night out hitting the drinks just a sudden crashing sound, like an earthquake, waking you up at 4am in the morning as Sengoku summons his front door to not be 200m underground imagine being a part of the council planning committee, having to approve that property extension. "oh, this crazy rich guy wants to buy all of the land beneath osaka castle and he says if we don't do it he will sic his tigers on us, we better say yes. he probably won't do anything with all the underground he just bought anyway right guys?"

In case you still haven't found where your last client a host is...now that you're back in Kamurocho it seems like the right time to say that Tamao has been waiting for Kazuma right outside Adam since before you left for Osaka. In the classic style of the LP, you two were wondering where someone would be and then ran completely the wrong way. (last hosting ep. before you went to Osaka) This isn't meant as a dig at your playstyle. I just chuckled when I saw it, but the story moved to Osaka before I had a chance to really say anything. In other news, good to see you guys are back. I'm really enjoying the LP, since this looks like the sort of game I might enjoy but get burnt out on before getting halfway through the story. It seems to go on forever. You're a better man than I am,

Well, if you are implying she works with porn in some way, that is different. It is one thing to do a photo shoot or video naked, quite another to walk and sit around all day without a proper bra. ...as a big chested gal myself, I tend to focus on things like that I suppose...
