At least Obsidian gave you the "yes man" route in New Vegas, where you get to actually make the decisions, as opposed to assisting Cesar or those other bozo's, who, realistically, are just as controlling and despotic as each other. Fallout 4 gives you 4 groups to work with, one being pretty neutral, while the other 3 being more or less psychotic. the elder scrolls games all feature a thieves and/or murderers for money guild, making morality meaningless. All these games use an arbitrary simplified model of "morality" that only applies to the player character, essentially most rpg's define the role for you, (gung ho jesus) if your play-style does not fit it, you are penalized for it, in small set pieces, no matter what you are doing generally, (usually committing genocide to some faction or other that are seen as 100% bad, in order to level up get better gear or fulfill some function of the games plot ). Perhaps a more granular system might be complex, but as its should affect every action you take, and be affected in the same way, I think its as important as plot, graphics and story, if not more so.

dad gay. so what posted:a game where you go through your dead aunts cupboard and pantry and mournfully try to figure out what charity food-banks you want to contribute all these canned goods to and how the donation will be recorded correctly to make sure you achieve the maximum tax benefit A game where you are the dead aunt and you have to rattle and push things as a ghost to distract some npc from finding your dank weed and porn stash.
