If you've ever been in a subway system, the modern version of newstands are those little kiosks where they sell papers, magazines and snacks. Also the racks of magazines at bookstores.

The really need to bring back Conqueror of the Barren Earth! This actually started as a Warlord back up, and the Conqueror miniseries was the follow up. I read the whole thing a couple of years ago. I enjoyed the general science fantasy tone but yeah. Also the Conqueror in question was a yellow peril caricature, and I think the creators were trying to be somewhat progressive by having the mutant Genghis Khan/Attila the Hun guy with a fu manchu, horns and lime green skin who looked basically like an oni from a ukiyo-e painting ultimately the good guy instead of a villain. It... doesn't work. Was trying to fix yellow peril poo poo by making a character's skin green some sort of trend? I remember the lovely 90s Iron Man cartoon trying this with the Mandarin too. It's mostly stuff that I've bought that I haven't had the time to really read yet, not monthlies that I'm behind on. Some of it I've already read but just purchased. I still have Arkwright Integral, Usagi Yojimbo Saga 1-3, Nexus Omnibus 1-3, Complete Elfquest 1-2 and Finder Library 1-2 staring at me from the bookshelf.

I think Kull is both an unfrozen and immortal caveman due to the magic of retcons or just forgetting/ignoring an origin story. Also I too enjoy monkey sex.
