For those who missed it, in the MSU-Purdue game, Valentine hit a three, there was a foul away from the ball on Purdue while the shot was in the air, and on the continuing MSU possession they hit another 3 immediately. Six point trip.

Look at the bright side, OctoberBlues, you won't need to worry about any of your players getting injured in this court storming.

Also what the gently caress ESPN, first you loving invent the worst idea in the history of college basketball broadcasts with your floor seats camera angle, now your announcers are conducting phone interviews mid-game? I'm disappointed the Izzone hasn't mauled Dakitch yet, but they're more busy torturing Nigel Hayes (and it's working).

OSU is going with the Wisconsin strategy of 'go inside and pray the refs call fouls against MSU'. It would almost be working if Bryn Forbes's spirit animal wasn't Steph Curry.

Eltoasto posted:Look we don't actually know how to come off screens for good shots. It's all iso ball and hoping Tate gets the ORB. And with Tate out for the year that really kills OSU You also don't appear to know how to defend shots off screens. But yeah, Tate being not only out for the year, but out for the year literally within a day, is not good for OSU, you had no chance to adapt to life without him, which against MSU was... not adequate.

OctoberBlues posted:So Iowa's not winning another regular season game, right? OSU is still down their best player. Indiana will be tough. And it really depends on what Michigan team shows up. I mean, you could argue MSU played our worst half of the season, apart from our two games against Iowa, in the first half against OSU last night and we were STILL up 5 at halftime.

Meanwhile in East Lansing, MSU played about as close to a perfect half as you possibly could, and Penn State was utterly decimated- head coach Pat Chambers picked up 2 techs back to back and was ejected, half their starting lineup has 3 fouls, and they're down 25 at the half.
