ISU plays way too sloppy against this WVU press.

For the love of god get a rebound. ISU is allowing way too many offensive rebounds.

Thank god they're calling fouls on WVU, although ISU needs to make their FTs. Burton needs more playing time too.

Niang turning it around right now. Matt Thomas needs to stop ball handling.

drat Morris we needed that.

That's probably the game. I get so frustrated watching ISU.

Marquette looking pretty good at Xavier right now.

Grittybeard posted:It's amazing how bad this game is for there being so few fouls. Both Iowa State and Oklahoma State had 2 fouls to give with 17 seconds left. I thought it was free flowing, but neither team could hit a loving shot. ISU lucky to win today.

I am now at the point where I'm rooting for Oklahoma so that Kansas doesn't win the Big 12. Don't gently caress this up against K-State.

There's like a force field around Baylor's rim. Lots of missed lay ups and tip ins.

I still find it hard to believe that ISU could still finish 2nd, or possibly tied for first, but that requires them running the table, which will not happen.

Fran Fraschilla on Saturday said that McKay should sit another game just to teach him a lesson, and that's pretty much what Prohm did. I hear his suspension will be lifted after today, I hope.

Texas tech already with 4 points created from offensive boards. ISU's big weakness.

SpiritualDeath posted:Marquette gave Providence all the 5 points needed to tie with under 40 seconds in overtime at the free-throw line Marquette got them in the end. ISU struggling against TTech, but that was expected I guess. Prohm has had Burton on the bench a lot because he picked up a couple early fouls. Very annoying.

Tech is not getting back in transition and ISU is making them pay. Burton with the oop.

Nader with a dumb intentional foul. Lots of clones in foul trouble.

Not the shot I would like there from Morris. Way too early and settled for a contested three.

# ¿ Feb 11, 2016 05:00 |

ISU got screwed on a missed goaltending call, and then tech hits a Hail Mary three.

Lots of soft foul calls on both sides. gently caress that was so close Morris, but it was too late.

Burton with back to back bad plays. Don't foul on a break away you have no chance of blocking.

It's kind of amazing how bad some of Iowa state's bench players are. Cooke and Ashton don't really add anything to this team.

I really like Burton, but McKay needs to get in this game. We need a big man.

I don't think McKay is coming in this game. Something is up with him and I don't know exactly what. Clones turning it on though.

ISU wins but it was closer than it should have been.

I don't think anyone who is not on the team knows what is going on with Jameel McKay. He was pretty worthless against Baylor, and he definitely needs to not be worthless tonight.

MourningView posted:No you're right it's definitely totally a coincidence that Prohm decided to send a message to him exclusively in games against the three worst teams in the Big 12. I don't think any of his "suspension" were even for violating any rules, just coaches decisions, so I guess I don't really care that much.

gently caress I hate West Virginia. Mostly because they suck at shooting, but are so good at getting offensive boards that it doesn't matter. ISU threw away at least four points on passes to wide open guys that were off the mark. Only way ISU wins this is to start getting more rebounds.

ISU will likely not win this game. They are fouling too much, and are already starting to get worn down.

Clones have had three rebounds get knocked out of their hands this half. How none of them were fouls I don't know.

Haha Iwundu with the dumbest turnover on a 3 on 1 fast break. Edit: ISU has such an amazing ability to just turn it on and score in bunches. Now they just need to stop the scoring droughts.

This has been a good game for the bench for once. McKay is looking like his old self, and Cooke actually contributed.

Last night in Hilton for Nader, Niang, and McKay, possibly Morris too if he decides to try the NBA, but I think he stinks around one more year. ISU needs big men next year in a bad way.
