I know it's smart defense but it's so boring seeing 5 people collapse into the low slot on every shot and then chip the puck out.

Eric the Mauve posted:Kris Letang: the one guy on the ice willing to shoot the loving puck instead of trying for style points. The Rangers are doing a good job of taking away shooting lanes and they're collapsing down low on every shot to take away rebounds. You pretty much need to find a clean first shot to get one in, which leads to lots of passing and cycling.

I like how a young guy makes a good play and that's "youthful enthusiasm" and then an old guy makes the exact same good play and that's "veteran experience".

Coach's job is to win games, not entertain fans Seriously though, if the strategy is effective, and there's no denying that it is very effective at least against the Pens, there's zero reason for them to change it.

Im late but I was stuck on the highway in a blizzard so; Andreas Athanasiou played for my local OHL team and he was really good and it made me sad when Detroit drafted him instead of a team I like. Also Im not sure who the lesser evil is in Rangers/Pens, but I really like Mats Zuccarello so go Rags I guess?
