Guys it's not zika virus it's monsanto secretly poisoning everybody. I have a brazillian friend who showed me lots of footage and pictures of how lovely the world cup stadiums were, and had lots of stories about how the poor were herded away for the event. They pretty much have death squads in brazil that go around "removing" the homeless so that they wont distract from all the Nike and McDonalds logos, which is what the Olympics are all about. The poor there were furious during World Cup and would not be surprised to see outright rioting put a premature end to the Olympics.

Lol, Norway and Sweden were in the bidding for the 2022 winter Olympics. They pulled out in the last minute because of costs and China got it. Kazakhstan almost won the vote and that really would have been a beautiful thing to see. At least now we get another amazing intro.

I was in Brasil for the world cup and I had read about all the riots and protests, but saw nothing. I guess they did a good job cleaning the place for the event. The olympics will be the same I guess. Might even end up going. Its fun for a tourist, cheap caipiriņas along the Copacabana beach!
