Kind of an odd thing to revisit, though. Throughout that entire arc Cobra was just dicking around and he was still the best murder baseball player who ever lived.

They really must love that arc too much, since by using it as inspiration they're raising expectations even among their own local Cobra fans. Side note: I didn't find the previous Cobra revivals to be unenjoyable, but the property did lose a lot of its style after the death of Osamu Dezaki.

Pachinko stuff has like five minutes of actual animation so it's going to look better than a TV series. Man, watching Shitobako has me wondering how any TV anime gets produced at all
