So I was at a Gaming Conference and they were talking about demographic groups and they said Millenials are people born between 1980-2000. I didn't say "hosed up if true" to the panelist but I sure as heck was thinking it! So after railing against them for so long it is sure sobering to realize that I, along with many other GBS denizens, was the Millenial all along.

I'm for sure a certified millenial, I think early 80's is right for the start but the exact year would depend on where you were born, culture and technology spread etc. I think in terms of "traits" though it's more like a bell curve with early millenials having more overlap with gen x and later overlap with whatever the post-millenials are called. I also dislike millenials, and frankly this leads to a fair amount of self-resentment.
