I've never seen any of these before and they own. On the subject of documentarians making beer ads, it'd be cool to see Warner Hertzog do one. some fat alcoholic in a dingy cellar surrounded by bottles in front of a television playing static. Hertzog: "The drink is cold. And bitter. Once emptied, it cannot be refilled. We are not so different." ~~miller~~

High Life is easily the best beer for its price on the market. I can get a six pack of tall boys for under five bucks.

I'm not clicking links, did anyone post the Orson Welles wine commercials? Also Budweiser is sold as a luxury brand in China, which is pretty accurate compared to the average Chinese swill.

There was one of these where it was just three skeevy guys in a crummy apartment sitting on a crummy couch getting drunk then the voice over or whatever says 'living the high life' and I looked to either side of me and realized that I was in the commercial.

There was this really cheap Chinese beer I used to get at the liquor store by the Pho place near work back in the late 90s that was like $4 for a six pack of bottles and it'd completely gently caress you up and it didn't taste bad. Wish I could remember the name.

I worked in advertising on the creative side when those ads premiered. Many of my colleagues and I considered them to be the gold standard of creative excellence to which we all aspired. When it was all said and done, my career had a few high points but was generally unimpressive and I never came close to the dizzying heights those spots represented for me. I trudged through several creative positions at second rate ad agencies until 2009 when an extramarital affair cost me my job, effectively putting my career out of its misery. Man, I could really use a High Life about now.
