I had my tonsils removed and didn't want to eat for like 2 weeks because I felt like poo poo. Parents had to force powerade and stuff on me so I didn't lose electrolytes or whatever. I can't drink them now because of that.

For the first two weeks of recovery I couldn't eat anything at all. The painkillers made me nauseous, and the anti nausea meds gave me a headache. After I was able to eat I could barely swallow anything without choking on it, and everything tasted awful except soda because it was so sugary that it overpowered the blood taste. Gatorade and such were the only things I could handle for a long time because the carbonation of soda irritated my throat. I lost 11 pounds in two weeks and I'm a tall lanky guy who has trouble gaining weight so even 3 months out I am just now starting to approach my pre surgery weight.

So basically if you ever have your tonsils out be prepared for hell

He was on the list for a heart transplant, but the doctors wouldnt sign off on a transplant because he had a history of Non-compliance and bunch of other poo poo, like that he commited petty crimes. Now when you get a transplant. You need to be complaint, you need to take certain meds everyday at certain times and all kinds of other poo poo. I know i had two kidney transplants. anyway the mom blames the hospital and says they are racists and goes to the media and talks about here sweet boy was perfect angel. so after the public outcry he is put back on the list. 2 years later http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2015/04/01/teen-denied-then-given-transplant-dies-in-police-chase/70806176/
he dies running from the police after a failed robbery and almost killing a few people. so he wasted that heart. gently caress him, if there is a hell, i hope he is there.

i can understand that. But as someone who had to go through dyalisis for 3 years and watched people die or lose hope(including myself) waiting for kidneys and other organs(some need other transplants) this story is irritating, he had a chance to turn his life around but nope, Mommy blamed racism so he didnt need to change. now he is dead.

That wasn't their job, their job was to preserve the physical vessel and they were God drat masters of their work.
